There’s a good spread for this edition of Kickstarter Report; high end dice, a game of samurai reflexes and a card game featuring great artwork. Click on the title of each entry or on the direct link at the end of each entry to jump over to Kickstarter to view the following campaigns.
For the lovers and collectors of unique dice out there, feast your eyes on Prism Dice which are handmade from a material similar to bullet-resistant glass. The final product if beautiful, durable and clear. From the Prism Dice Kickstarter Campaign page:
“Our dice were designed to be a functioning tool first. Plastic dice are too soft, and with rounded corners may not be quite as random. Metal dice have sharp corners but Some people feel they are way to heavy, and awkward for normal use. We have found the perfect balance for these dice for maximum randomness, while still keeping the die lightweight. Prism die both look amazing and feel great in the hand.”
“We wanted our dice to be made out of a fantastic material. The problem with that is it needed to be very light weight and strong at the same time. Another issue that was very important to us was clarity. We wanted our Dice to be Crystal Clear. We found a special Poly material to fill all the these criteria, and more! Plus, they use it in Bullet-Resistant glass, and that is just awesome!”

Watchmen of Destiny
One of my favorite features of a game is the artwork; an opinion shared by many of those who enjoy our hobby. This card game features some amazing art! The following image features a description of the game from the campaign page.
Here’s another image that displays some of the fantastic artwork of Watchmen of Destiny.

KETTOU: The Samurai Reflex Game
I like both the theme of this game and the idea of its mechanic. According to the campaign page cards are placed on the table that represent target hit locations. Random cards then determine the appropriate target and players have to use speed and reflexes to play cards there. From the campaign:
“KETTOU (which means duel in Japanese) is a Samurai Themed Reflex Tabletop Game. Players duel each other as iconic Samurai. Defeat your opponents using quick reflexes and a sharp mind!”
“Choose between 8 SAMURAI, each with an unique ability to use throughout the duel. Each samurai also has different hit point and attack values. Kickstarter backers receive the special 8th samurai, TOMOE GOZEN.”
