I heard a lot of buzz about Captain Sonar from Gen Con this year, and I was happy to stumble across this article on the Geek & Sundry website. To quote the linked article:
“The game is team based battleship with communication being your chief asset. Each group of four players coordinates in real-time, managing their role on the ship effectively in a simulator comparable to the PC game Artemis. The magic of this new release resides in that team-work aspect funneled through the stress of real-time.”

I’ve only heard good things about Captain Sonar. Not sure how my game group would receive it, but it does found like a whole ruckus of fun! Thank you for sharing the article.

It looks like a lot of fun and I can’t wait to try it. Tom Vasel’s review was absolutely glowing and made it sound like it’s an awesome game.
